I want to thank everyone who came out and fished with me this winter! We had a fast start to the walleye action early on in the season and put a lot of walleyes on the ice jigging this year. Giant bluegills, crappies and tons of perch kept everyone’s lines tight all winter long. The extreme cold in February slowed things down a bit and some crazy cold front pushed through this winter slowing the bite for a day or two but overall we were on fish all year! A lot of personal bests were caught and quite a few new anglers from all over the country were able to experience what ice fishing is all about.
Due to the fast warm up and rain the past few days, I’ve had to call it quits for guiding for the 2020 ice season. I will have a day or two of filming up in northern WI with Midwest Outdoors TV and after returning will jump into open water walleye fishing.
Spring and summer trips are booking fast so don’t delay. Stay tuned to the facebook page and the new blog page here for the latest information.
Cheers Everyone!
Love the pictures – love all the fish you helped haul in – looking forward to seeing those big walleyes!
Nice site
Had an absolute blast assisting on the ice! Troy runs such a well organized outfit, it’s hard not to want to go again and again!
