It’s been a while since I’ve posted a full fishing report here on the website, and I appreciate everyone who’s reached out wondering when the next update would drop. I promise—I’m going to stay on top of these as we slide into late fall, early ice, and right through the entire ice season. There’s a lot to look forward to.

This past year has been a long one for me. After back surgery and being sidelined for most of the open-water season, it’s been both humbling and exhausting. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t sit still well, especially when the lakes are calling. But the recovery is moving in the right direction, the strength is slowly coming back, and my focus is on getting fully dialed in so I can be back out on the ice where I belong.

And speaking of ice—the forecasts are hinting at a cold, long winter… which is music to every ice angler’s ears. If things shake out the way they’re looking, we might be in for a solid early ice season and great conditions throughout the winter.

  I’ll be there all weekend—and I’ll be presenting a seminar on tip-up fishing, so make sure to swing by for that.

• Duluth/Superior Ice Fishing Show – Northern Wisconsin/Minnesota.   https://arrowheadiceshow.com/
  Another solid event if you’re up north and want to dive into the latest ice gear and spend some time with top-notch pros.

These shows are excellent opportunities to test gear, ask questions, grab early-season discounts, and learn from some of the best in the industry.
