A Little About Myself

I am an accomplished multi-species angler who has appeared on many television shows including; Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen, Midwest Outdoors, Outdoors Wisconsin and other local programming.  I have written and been featured in numerous articles which have been published in places like Midwest Outdoors Magazine, Fishin Facts, Wisconsin Outdoor News, Fishing and Hunting News, Wisconsin Outdoor Journal, The Outdoor Gazette, Various Visitor's Guides, The Badger Sportsman and other local publications as well as various websites.   Along with guiding I am an avid photographer, videographer and multi-media producer.  While at home I try to spend as much time with my "minnie me", Fisher, and wonderful wife at our trailer home in Waushara County.  During the fall and winter months while not fishing I am taking care of the many dealers in Wisconsin as the Dealer Support Manager for MarCum Technologies.  If all that isn't enough, I love to sit in the tree waiting for deer or risk my life while out in the middle of Lake Michigan trying to shoot little black and white ducks that fly really fast!

I currently am United States Coast Guard Certified Captain and Licensed Wisconsin Fishing Guide.  I have been fishing for the past 20 years around Northeastern Wisconsin.  While fishing alone can be fun and enjoying, teaching people how to fish and the different techniques is more rewarding than anything.  I started guiding for this purpose and this purpose only.  My passion for teaching people about the sport of fishing and showing them the best products in the industry is a drive that few people have.  Whether it is ice fishing or open water there is never a lack of enthusiasm towards the sport.  I make sure the clients are comfortable, warm, enjoying themselves and most important Catching Fish for the entire trip!!!  For the full day ice fishing trips, you will enjoy a fresh shore lunch while you watch your tip-ups and relax in a warm Frabill shelter.  My job is to do all the work so you can enjoy yourselves with your friends or family.  Be prepared to walk a way with a heap of knowledge and hopefully a heap of fish for the dinner table!!!  All gear, bait, rods, reels, tackle and anything else that is needed for the day is provided.  All you need to do is show up with appropriate clothes, a camera and something to put your fish in for the ride home.
